Data Deletion Instructions
APEX AI respects user control over connected account data. Users may request deletion of their APEX AI account data and Meta platform connection data using the steps below.
1. Disconnect Facebook or Instagram
If the account connection feature is available in your APEX AI workspace, go to the platform connection settings, select the connected Facebook or Instagram account, and choose disconnect or remove authorization. This removes stored access tokens and disables future access to that asset.
2. Remove the App from Facebook Settings
You can also remove APEX AI from your Facebook account settings:
- Open Facebook Settings.
- Go to Apps and Websites.
- Find APEX AI.
- Select Remove.
When we receive a valid deauthorization or deletion request from Meta, we will process it according to Meta Platform requirements.
3. Request Manual Data Deletion
To request manual deletion, contact us through the Contact page and include:
- Your APEX AI account email or user identifier.
- The connected Facebook Page or Instagram account you want removed, if applicable.
- A statement that you request deletion of your APEX AI account data or connected platform data.
4. What We Delete
Upon a valid deletion request, we delete or anonymize account connection records, access tokens, platform asset records, and related operational data that is no longer required to provide the service or meet legal, security, audit, or compliance obligations.
5. Processing Time
We aim to process valid deletion requests within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days, unless additional verification, legal retention, or security review is required.
