Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 14, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how APEX AI collects, uses, stores, and protects information when users connect their social platform assets and use our AI-assisted operations tools.
1. Information We Collect
When a user chooses to connect Facebook or Instagram, APEX AI may receive information authorized by the user through Meta OAuth, such as Facebook user ID, name, connected Facebook Pages, Page IDs, Instagram Business or Creator account IDs, usernames, profile information, media metadata, comments, engagement information, and access tokens required to operate the requested features.
We also collect account information needed to provide our service, such as login identifiers, organization or workspace information, usage logs, task records, generated content drafts, approval records, and technical diagnostics.
2. How We Use Information
- To connect and display the user's authorized Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts.
- To help the user manage content planning, publishing workflows, comments, and engagement.
- To generate AI-assisted drafts, summaries, recommendations, and operational reports.
- To maintain security, audit logs, rate limits, troubleshooting, and service reliability.
- To comply with platform policies, legal obligations, and user requests.
3. Meta Platform Data
APEX AI accesses Meta platform data only after the user explicitly authorizes the app. We use the connected user's own access token and authorized assets. We do not use one global account to operate assets owned by other users.
Requested permissions may include permissions such as reading connected Pages, reading engagement, accessing Instagram professional account information, publishing user-approved content, and managing comments, depending on the features the user enables.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information or Meta platform data. We may share limited data with service providers only as needed to operate hosting, storage, security, analytics, and AI processing services, subject to appropriate safeguards. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users, our service, or the public.
5. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain audit records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Access tokens and platform connection records are removed when a user disconnects an account or requests deletion, subject to legitimate retention requirements.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including HTTPS, access controls, token storage safeguards, logging, and operational monitoring. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect user information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
7. User Choices and Data Deletion
Users may disconnect their Facebook or Instagram connection inside APEX AI where available, or request deletion by following our Data Deletion Instructions. Users may also remove the app from their Facebook settings.
8. Contact
For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact us through the information on our Contact page.
